National Aerospace Solutions honors team members at 2017 Salute to Excellence Annual Awards Banquet

National Aerospace Solutions (NAS) Team members with the AEDC Test Operations and Sustainment contract received awards for their contributions to NAS and AEDC during the 2017 NAS Salute to Excellence Annual Awards Banquet.
Held at the Arnold Lakeside Center Nov. 16, each award winner was recognized by a member of the NAS senior management team and presented with a commemorative plaque and a cash award.
The following are the award winners, their award and their functional organization:
Joel Barr, of Chevy Chase, Maryland, receiving the Engineer of the Year award, for his work in Instrumentation, Data and Controls for AEDC Hypervelocity Wind Tunnel 9 at White Oak, Maryland.
Hunter Beavers, of Estill Springs, Tennessee, receiving the Safety Award, for his work in Test and Sustainment Engineering for Aeropropulsion.
Christopher Bowman, of Bradyville, Tennessee, receiving the Security Award, for his work in Test and Sustainment Engineering for Aeropropulsion.
Judy Brewer, of Bell Buckle, Tennessee, receiving the Customer Service Award, for her work in Office and Administration for Business Services.
David Brooks, of Tullahoma, Tennessee, receiving the Craft Innovation Award, for his work in Operations and Maintenance for Aeropropulsion.
Mark Carson, of Winchester, Tennessee, receiving the Technician of the Year award, for his work in Operations and Management for Aeropropulsion.
Yeshiemebe Dohrmann, of Tullahoma, Tennessee, receiving the Engineering Analysis of the Year award, for her work in Design Engineering for Technology Innovations.
Effie Green, of San Francisco, California, receiving the Engineering Design and Facilities Professional of the Year award, for work her work in Design Engineering for National Full-Scale Aerodynamics Complex at Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California.
Lori Golden, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, receiving the Technical Project Leader of the Year award, for her work in Instrumentation, Data and Controls for Flight.
Alan Hale, of Normandy, Tennessee, receiving the Innovation Award, for his work in Analytical and Science for Technology Innovations.
Williams Lynch, of Manchester, Tennessee, receiving the Craft Professional of the Year award, for his work in Operations and Maintenance for Flight.
James Masters, of Estill Springs, Tennessee, receiving the Science and Technology Professional of the Year award, for his work in Analytical and Science for Technology Innovations.
John Meeks, of Decherd, Tennessee, receiving the Craft Innovation Award, for his work in Operations and Maintenance for Aeropropulsion.
John Shuttleworth, of Tullahoma, Tennessee, receiving the Project Manager of the Year award, for his work in Project Management for Aeropropulsion.
Matthew Wilson, of Manchester, Tennessee, receiving the Quality Award, for his work in Quality for Aeropropulsion.
