Arnold Engineering Development Center's(AEDC) Executive Director, Ricky Peters, is heading back to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio to become the director of Plans and Programs at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). Peters came to AEDC in August 2006.

Before making his first move as an Air Force senior leader, the Brookville, Ohio, native worked at Wright-Patterson for 26 years and all but two of those years were at AFRL.

In an interview at the beginning of his term, Peters was excited to learn more about the military-style of life and to gain an understanding and appreciation for the military families who move due to their jobs.

He used his past experience in personnel and organizational development to further support former AEDC Commander Brig. Gen. David Stringer and current AEDC Commander Col. Art Huber. He particularly became more involved in mentoring junior-level people, specifically the Junior Force Council.
