State, local leaders visit Arnold AFB

Randall Quinn, a rocket test manager, speaks about the J-6 Large Rocket Motor Test Facility, during a visit by state and local leaders to Arnold Air Force Base, Tenn., Feb. 10, 2023. J-6 is used to test solid rocket motors at simulated altitudes, such as the stage two and three motors of Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missiles. The facility is operated by the 718th Test Squadron, 804th Test Group, Arnold Engineering Development Complex.
