Norwegian Defense staff member visits AEDC

Jon Ulv Deglum, a captain with the Norwegian Defense Staff, visited AEDC April 16. Deglum is a member of a six-person Rotary Group Study Exchange (GSE) team visiting the Tullahoma area for five days as part of a four-week visit to Tennessee. Rotary’s GSE program is designed for vocation and cultural exchange. Everett completes training at the Southeastern Command and Leadership Academy

AEDC Fire Department hosts a visit by honorary deputy fire chief

Olson is a 10-year-old boy who was diagnosed with very high-risk, acute lymphocytic leukemia in May and was later adopted by the Arnold AFB Fire Department as their new deputy fire chief. While visiting AEDC, Olson got the opportunity to play the role as honorary fire chief, conducting roll call, inspecting firefighting equipment and helping to demolish a car, symbolizing the young man’s battle with cancer.
