LIEUTENANT COLONEL JEFFERY S. DENNISON

Lt Col Jeffery S. Dennison serves as the Commander, National Radar Cross Section Test Facility (NRTF), 704th Test Group Detachment 1, Holloman AFB, New Mexico. The NRTF conducts RCS and antenna pattern measurement tests to enhance survivability and effectiveness of current and future Department of Defense platforms and weapons systems.

Lt Col Dennison commissioned in 2006 through the Kansas State University ROTC program in Manhattan, Kansas. Following graduation, he led a premier geospatial intelligence forensic analysis cell at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center, and subsequently deployed to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, as the Center’s liaison officer for Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom where he helped identify and neutralize threats to US forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. After graduating in the top ten percent of his electrical engineering class at the Air Force Institute of Technology, Lt Col Dennison entered the test community at Edwards AFB where he led the developmental electronic warfare test efforts on the YAL-1A Airborne Laser System and the RQ-4 Global Hawk. After graduating from Air Force Test Pilot School, Class 13B, he led multiple first flight test events across several experimental platforms at a Data Masked location. Prior to this assignment Lt Col Dennison served as Test Manager and Program Manager for Advanced Technologies in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Fighter and Advanced Aircraft Special Programs Division at Wright-Patterson AFB, and achieved the Air Force Material Command Special Access Program Senior Program Manager of the Year.
