African American Heritage Luncheon
Willie Jo Taylor, second from right, a retiree of AEDC, received the AEDC African American Heritage Committee Achievement of Excellence award at the luncheon Feb. 16 at Arnold Lakeside Center. Taylor was one of the first black females to work at AEDC as part of a stay-in-school program in 1979. She was accompanied at the luncheon by her husband of 37 years, Gregory Taylor, and her daughter, AEDC team member Dana Taylor Henry.
