Services facilities and activities are available to ALL AEDC PERSONNEL, active-duty and retired military of all branches; National Guard and military Reserve of all branches; Department of Defense (DoD) Civilians, and others as approved by the installation commander. Some areas and events may require membership.

Members First Plus memberships are processed and maintained through Member Planet. Eligible applicants may join through www.MyAirForceLife.com then once joined, maintain your account through www.MemberPlanet.com.  Your smartphone is now used to show your club card by downloading the free Member Planet app.  Those who do not own a smartphone may print a paper copy from the Member Planet website.  

Membership remains a personal choice, however, only members are entitled to discounts and other benefits associated with Members First Plus Membership.

Where to Find AAFB Services Map

The Wingo Inn is located on the shores of Woods Reservoir. Offering visiting quarters for TDY, PCS, and Space Available travel to all Active Duty, DoD Civilians, Guard, Reserve, Retirees, and authorized contractors. We are a fantastic location for conferences, weddings, reunions, or other group event. Arnold Lakeside Center and Outdoor Recreation facilities are nearby and can provide all of the resources for your event. Looking for a weekend getaway or vacation destination?  Make Arnold AFB your spot!  We’re located between Nashville, Chattanooga, Huntsville AL, and other smaller cities where you will find a tremendous amount to explore.

TDY/PCS:  Reservations can be made through DTS, over the phone, or online. PCS will be made for 30 days and can be extend if needed.

Space Available: Made up to 120 days in advance, 14 days at a time. Made over the phone or online.

Advance Payment: A credit are is required on all reservations. If a credit card is not provided the reservation will be canceled at 6 pm on the day of the arrival.

Outdoor Recreation (ODR) is the hub for our  FamCamp, Crockett Cove, Dogwood Ridge, marina, equipment rental, RV/boat storage, pavilion rental, licenses, permits, and discounted tickets (ITT - Information, Tickets, and Travel).  The main office is located on Westover Road and is the check in point for all areas. Patrons must have access through the Arnold Village Security Gate, or be accompanied by someone who does, to utilize ODR.

Reservation policy for overnight stays with Outdoor Rec:

Active Duty, Guard, or Reserve may make reservations for FamCamp, Crockett Cove, or Dogwood Ridge up to 90 days in advance. Retired Military may reserve up to 60 days in advance. DOD Civilians may reserve up to 30 days in advance.  All other eligible patrons may reserve up to 20 days in advance. Check-in is 2pm and check-out is 10am. Leashed and vaccinated pets are welcome at FamCamp and Crockett Cove but NOT Dogwood Ridge. Please have current copy of shot records available upon request. All fees are due at time of reservation.

The FamCamp is located on the banks of Woods Reservoir with 36 RV sites (15 pull through) and 16 tent sites. RV sites are all equipped with 30 and 50 AMP 115V service. FamCamp amenities include bathhouse with shower, barbeque grills, fire rings, lantern hangers, boat launch pad, picnic and beach area, covered pavilion, washer/dryer service, and limited wet slips by reservation. 

Crockett Cove offers five rustic cabins with scenic lake view. All cabins are equipped with heat/air, mini fridge, microwave, porch swing, grill, and picnic table. A bathhouse is on site along with beach, boat dock, pavilion, and volleyball. Cleaning supplies are provided but linens must be provided by user. The one room cabins sleep up to 4 and include a double bed, bunk bed, table and chairs. The two room cabins sleep up to 6 and include a double bed, two bunk beds, table and chairs.

Dogwood Ridge shares the same entrance as Crockett Cove but sits up the hill on the opposite side with 4 fully equipped cabins. These cabins are nestled near the tree line with a lake view. All cabins have heat/air, kitchenette, bathroom, downstairs & loft bedroom, living room, dining area, double bed, 2 twin beds, and futon (fold out double bed). Some supplies are provided but linens must be provided by user.  Apr-Sep weekend rentals require 2 night stay.

The Marina offers rental of pontoons, fish/ski boats, Craig Cats, kayaks, jon boat, aqua tricycle, stand up paddle boards, pedal boats, and canoes. Never operated a boat?  No problem!  Our staff will give you the training you need.  Join us on the water of Woods Reservoir for a relaxing, fun-filled adventure.  Active Duty, Guard, or Reserve may make reservations with our Marina up to 7 days in advance. All other eligible patrons may reserve up to 5 days in advance.

Equipment rental items include tents, canopies (ranging in size from 10x10 to 40x60), tables, chairs, white arch, trailer grills (charcoal 2x5ft or gas [propane not provided] in 2x4ft, 2x5ft, or 3x6ft), cornhole bag toss game, ladder golf, fishing rods, ice chests, camping gear, bicycles, disc golf, inflatable screen for outdoor movies, and more.

RV and boat storage are available with monthly fees. The RV storage yard is secure fenced with lighting and can accommodate 35-40 ft RVs. Marina boat storage is available in covered wet or dry.

Pavilions are available for rent with one at Arnold Lakeside Beach, two at Crockett Cove area, and one at Dogwood Ridge. Reservations may be made up to 30 days in advance.  Apr-Sep must also have cabin rented to reserve Crockett Cove or Dogwood Ridge pavilions.

Licenses and Permits are available for hunting, fishing and wood cutting.
