AEDC contractor award fee announced Published Dec. 30, 2008 By 208213 Arnold Air Force Base, Tenn. -- The Air Force has announced the award fee for the Arnold Engineering Development Center's (AEDC) support contractor, Aerospace Testing Alliance (ATA), for the period April 1 through Sept. 30, 2008. The award fee determining official, AEDC Commander Col. Arthur Huber, approved an award fee of $5,304,000 for ATA. This is the 10th award fee under the contract that began in October 2003. The contractor received a rating of 84 resulting in $5,304,000 of their possible award fee of $6,799,500. ATA was awarded the center support and testing contract on June 30, 2003. The operating contract is for up to 12 years and worth potentially $2.7 billion. ATA currently employs more than 2,300 people from 15 Tennessee counties and four states.
