AEDC Safety encourages tornado preparedness
This photo shows damage from an EF1 tornado that touched down on the morning of Feb. 28, 2024, at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The tornado knocked down power lines and trees and damaged several buildings on the base, including the Air Force Research Laboratory and a National Museum of the U.S. Air Force restoration hangar. No one was injured. Arnold Engineering Development Complex Safety personnel at Arnold Air Force Base, Tenn., are urging vigilance and preparedness during peak Tornado season, which is from March through June.
