AEDC contractor award fee announced

The Air Force has announced the award fee for the Arnold Engineering Development Center's (AEDC) support contractor, Aerospace Testing Alliance (ATA), for the period Oct. 1, 2007 through March 31, 2008.

The award fee determining official, AEDC Commander Col. Arthur Huber, approved an award fee of $5,712,000 for ATA. This is the ninth award fee under the contract that began in October 2003.

The contractor received a rating of 91 resulting in $5,712,000 of their possible award fee of $6,799,500.

ATA was awarded the center support and testing contract on June 30, 2003. The operating contract is for up to 12 years and worth potentially $2.7 billion. ATA currently employs more than 2,300 people from 15 Tennessee counties and four states.

ATA is a joint venture of Jacobs Engineering, Computer Sciences Corp. and General Physics Corp.
