The Aerospace Vehicle Survivability Facility consists of multiple sites for subjecting aerospace combat vehicles to realistic operating conditions, including threats, to predict and assess the magnitude of combat damage and provide model input and improvements for system-level vulnerability assessments.
AVSF integrates indoor/outdoor test sites to provide ballistic and high-energy data, realistic airflow environments, and modeling and simulation analyses to collect combat survivability data.
