White Oak Rescue Team stands ready should emergencies arise
Members of the White Oak Rescue Team (WORT) complete annual training at the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute. The team also looks to complete at least one onsite training session per year at Arnold Engineering Development Complex Hypervelocity Wind Tunnel 9 in White Oak, Maryland. The WORT was established in the late 1990s at Arnold Engineering Development Complex Hypervelocity Wind Tunnel 9 in White Oak, Maryland, to provide immediate lifesaving actions in the event of an emergency until county emergency responders arrive.
