Engineers at Arnold AFB develop projectile telemetry capability to study boundary layer transition
Elvis Encalada, Jesse Labello and David Woods, engineers with the Space and Missiles Combined Test Force at Arnold Air Force Base, have worked together to develop a telemetry package that will be used to transmit data when launching projectiles. According to the team, the use of this telemetry package will enable AEDC test customers to obtain critical data about boundary layer transition during hypersonic flight and hypervelocity impacts.
