The annual Children's Christmas Party held Dec. 7 welcomed another big crowd for the third straight year.

More than 500 children and their families traveled to the Arnold Lakeside Club to enjoy candy, cookies, cotton candy, hamburgers, hot dogs and other snacks, as well as visiting the guest of honor--Santa.

Like years before, Santa landed by floatplane on Woods Reservoir and was welcomed by many special visitors such as Buddy the Elf, Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Shaggy and Scooby Doo, the Grinch and several other elves.

Different inflatables and a petting zoo were outside the club for children to also enjoy. Once inside Santa and Mrs. Claus visited with the children and handed out gifts.
