She's not a rock star, actress or famous TV personality, but she has a fan base at Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC).

"She" is Olivia McCurry, dishwasher for Eurest Dining Services in the A&E cafeteria and wrap maker extraordinaire.

Wrap day has become an AEDC "must have" and McCurry makes every wrap taste a little better with her positive attitude and smiling face.

"I just like to be me in whatever I do and I hope that's what people like," she said. "I just go with the flow. When I don't see someone smiling I try to make them smile and when they come back the next time they are usually smiling."

McCurry found out about AEDC from her aunt, Brenda Smith, who works in the Main Cafeteria.

"This job was not my thing at first," she admitted. "But finally I picked it up and went on with it."

Before coming to AEDC she worked in construction as a painter with her father.

People, McCurry says, is what makes her job enjoyable at AEDC.

"I like everyone I come in contact with here," she said.

"I love it because of the people and my co-workers; they are just like family and family is the most important thing to me."

Growing up with a big family and especially a twin, McCurry feels that's where she gets her outgoing personality.

"I like to be outgoing," she said. "Growing up in a big family has taught me that."
McCurry is most proud of being a mom to her 4-year-old daughter Maelee.

"Most of all that I love is being a mom; that's the best job anybody can have, she is my pride and joy."
