Arnold journalists win command media awards

ARNOLD AIR FORCE BASE, Tenn. -- Two members of Arnold Engineering Development Center's Public Affairs Office earned journalistic and photographic awards.

Philip Lorenz III, a 20-year Navy veteran who now works for Aerospace Testing Alliance, was the first-place winner in the Stand-Alone Photograph Category in the Air Force Materiel Command Media Contest. He took the winning photo in September during a major accident response exercise at the base.

Tech. Sgt. Beverly Isik, NCO in Charge of public affairs, won first place in the News Writing Category.

Both AFMC winners are now competing in the Air Force Media Contest.

Mr. Lorenz is a resident of Winchester, Tenn. Sergeant Isik is a native of Madisonville, Tenn., who has served in the Air Force for more than 19 years.
