Arnold Air Force Base hosting blood drive in conjunction with American Red Cross

ARNOLD AIR FORCE BASE, Tenn. – The Medical Aid Station at Arnold Air Force Base along with the American Red Cross will host a blood drive Thursday, June 5 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Room 125 of Building 100.

All blood types are needed with all base personnel invited to attend. Contractor employees are invited to participate in accordance with company policy and supervisor approval.

To be eligible to donate, you must weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. The process usually takes about 30 minutes, and donors are asked to drink plenty of fluids, avoid caffeine and eat a meal that is rich in iron prior to donating. Bring identification in the form of a donor card or driver's license.
