ARNOLD AIR FORCE BASE, Tenn. -- Arnold Air Force Base leadership has been notified by the Air Force Civil Engineering Center that potential Enhanced Use Lease offerors will not be submitting proposals for Arnold AFB parcels for an AI Data Center.
This decision was based on responses they received from the companies who participated in their multi-installation source selection process.
The official deadline to submit such proposals was 29 May.
Arnold AFB was one of many bases that was being considered. The Air Force offered land for AI Data Center development at five installations: Arnold AFB, Tenn., Edwards AFB, Calif., Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL), N.J., Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz., and/or Robins AFB, Ga. The Air Force selected these installations based on market analysis, infrastructure availability, and strategic importance.
