AEDC Technical Management and Advisory Services task order awarded Published March 24, 2016 By Jason Austin, Chief, Public Affairs AEDC/PA ARNOLD AIR FORCE BASE, TENN. -- On Wednesday, the Air Force Test Center awarded the Technical and Management Advisory Services Range Task Order to QuantiTech, Inc., Huntsville, Ala., as a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract with a potential value of up to $224 million. The period of performance is 55 months - 3 month base period, four one-year option periods - in addition to a 120-day phase-in period. The award to QuantiTech was under the General Service Administration's One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services small business multi-agency contract vehicle. The QuantiTech team will provide advisory and assistance services at Arnold AFB, Eglin AFB, Holloman AFB, Wright-Patterson AFB, and AFTC's operational test and combat training partners at Air Combat Command and Pacific Air Force sites. In a message to the workforce, AEDC Commander, Col. Rodney Todaro, wrote, "The award to QuantiTech, Inc. is the culmination of a multi-year effort which has required the focus of a good portion of our government team. Changing the contracting strategy, along with our CTF conversion at AEDC, has been a transformational change in the way we meet the needs of the warfighter and our nation. "Thank you for staying focused on our mission during this prolonged period of change and uncertainty. You are extremely valued for your role in ensuring our Air Force and our sister services stay ahead of our adversaries. Thank you for your dedicated service to our country." The QuantiTech team met Wednesday with the AFTC TMAS Program Management Office representatives located at Eglin AFB to begin the transition period. Once the transition period is complete, performance will start. At this time, AEDC is projecting transition to end no later than July 14. -AEDC-
