The Government Accountability Office rendered a decision Friday on the ongoing protest of the Test Operations and Sustainment contract award announced in June.

The GAO sustained the protest in part and recommended the Arnold Engineering Development Complex Source Selection Office take corrective action. The GAO has placed their decision under a protective order limiting what information can be publicly released.

The Base Communications and Information Technology Services protest decision is still expected on or before Oct. 14.  No new information is available on the Technical and Management Advisory Services contract.

The AEDC Contracting Office has extended the Aerospace Testing Alliance contract to March 30; however, some requirements will be de-scoped in December when Akima Support Operations begins contract performance. The Air Force can exercise a final option to extend performance of the ATA contract until Sept. 30, 2016 if needed.
