Winchester resident’s daughter receives Dr. Joseph J. Jacobs Scholarship
Aerospace Testing Alliance (ATA) General Manager Steve Pearson recently presented Tracy McDonald with a framed Dr. Joseph J. Jacobs Scholarship Program certificate for McDonald’s daughter, Hannah, who is a 2012 Franklin County High School graduate. Tracy McDonald is a project manager for ATA’s Manufacturing, Piping and Hazardous Materials (PHMS) group at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC). Hannah, who is a freshman at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, is pursuing a double major in Microbiology and Animal Science/Pre-Vet. The Dr. Joseph J. Jacobs Global Scholarship Program is sponsored by the Jacobs Engineering Foundation. The program was created in 2009 as a tribute to Dr. Joseph J. Jacobs – the founder of Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. – for his commitment to higher education and his goal to make an education affordable to children. (Photo by Rick Goodfriend)
