Dr. Robert Howard discusses a sampling system layout with Dr. Xu Li-Jones of the Navy Aircraft Environmental Support Office (AESO) located in San Diego, Calif. Howard and other AEDC employees traveled to the NASA Dryden facility in Palmdale, Calif., in early 2011 to take part in the Alternate Aviation Fuel Experiment (AAFEX 2).
