AFMC commander visits Elmendorf
Master Sgt. William Marshal, of the 3rd Component Maintenance Squadron, briefs Gen. Donald Hoffman on the permanent magnetic generator bearing failures, what the squadron is doing to mitigate failures, and future re-design specifications during the general’s visit March 7, 2011. Gen. Donald Hoffman, commander of Air Force Materiel Command, visited Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson as part of a trip through select Pacific Air Forces bases and the U.S. Central Command's area of responsibility. General Hoffman is making this trip to acquire feedback directly from warfighters to determine how the command can better accomplish its supply and sustainment operations.
