Morris Ferry boat ramp repair complete
Work to improve the main boat ramp at Morris Ferry was completed this week. It was also extended from about 40 feet to 50 feet long permitting launch at lower lake levels or for larger boats. Now that the ramp has been completed, the Woods Reservoir water level is being allowed to rise to summer pool, which is 959.5 feet. Workers from Sequatchie Concrete Service of Shelbyville spread out the concrete for the new ramp. (Photo by Rick Goodfriend)
