Moving up the ranks

Arnold Air Force Base, Tenn.—Aerospace Testing Alliance’s Warner Holt, deputy branch manager of facilities maintenance, was recently promoted to lieutenant colonel. Maj. Gen. Gus Hargett, left, Tennessee Adjutant General promoted Holt at Joint Force Headquarters in Nashville. Colonel Holt’s wife Nancy, right, and daughter Alexis were also present. Holt has 24 years of service with the Tennessee Army National Guard and is currently assigned to the Regimental Fires Squadron, 278th Armored Calvary Regiment, Winchester, Tenn. Holt recently returned from a deployment to Afghanistan where he was an embedded trainer for an Afghan National Army Infantry Battalion. He was also awarded the Bronze Star Medal and the Combat Action Badge for his actions while deployed.
