AEDC display aircraft dedicated to fallen naval aviator
Navy Cmdr. Steven Kroll, the 704th Test Systems Group deputy director, addresses those attending a dedication ceremony of the F/A-18A Hornet display aircraft at Arnold Engineering Development Center in honor of Lt. Cmdr. Frank Wittwer, who last served with VFA-97, also home based at NAS Lemoore. On Jan. 18, 2006, Lieutenant Commander Wittwer died while flying on a night-time training exercise over California in preparation for deployment overseas. AEDC Commander Col.
