Air National Guard of the Smoky Mountains

The Air National Guard Band of the Smoky Mountains is stationed at McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base near Knoxville, Tenn. The band is the official musical ambassador for the Tennessee Air National Guard. The mission of the band is to support military and civilian functions; to perform at activities involving Department of Defense community relations projects; and, to support local Air Force and Air National Guard recruiting. The band has performed for the Air Force Thunderbirds, the Navy Blue Angels, numerous State of Tennessee Governors Inaugural Ceremonies, as well as civilian and military performances in 21 states, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.
