Joint U.S./Germany Free-Jet Icing Turbine Engine Test team
The Arnold Engineering Development Center Technical Achievement award was presented to the Joint U.S./Germany Free-Jet Icing Turbine Engine team for outstanding excellence of the $13 million Rolls-Royce Deutschland BR725 engine test effort. Team leader was 2nd Lt. Jamie Gurganus. Team members included Gene Klingensmith, Jeff Dodd, Tom Parrish, Jon Osborne, David Hester, Rick Hutchings, Joel Kennerly, Michael March, Devon Parker, Dan Sagorski (Rolls-Royce), Joerg Erikson (Rolls-Royce), Bernard Williamson, Michael Magistro, Robert Geierman, Jimmy Mitchell, Josh Meeks, Ihsan Ansari, Dewayne Wilkinson, Ken Simmons, Valerie Davenport, Woody McFarlane and Mike McClure.
