Assumption of leadership
Ron Polce, director of Arnold Engineering Development Center’s 704th Test Systems Group, hands over the 649th Test Systems Squadron flag to Lance Baxter. As director of the squadron, Baxter will be responsible for the investment project planning and systems engineering to assure that research, development, test and evaluation systems are readily available. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering at the United States Air Force Academy and received a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of New Mexico. Baxter is currently a government civilian, but held technical and management positions on active duty in the Air Force for more than eight years. (Photo by David Housch)
