Team effort

Members of Arnold Engineering Development Center's fuel spill response team at Arnold Air Force Base, Tenn., connect a hose to a 6,000 gallon capacity fuel tank truck in the proximity of the spill during the exercise. The other end of the hose is attached to a flotation device in the area of the simulated spill, and allows them to drain the fuel floating on the water’s surface. (Photo by Rick Goodfriend)
