Recognized for work on Woods Reservoir Dam project
In recognition of the job well done on the Woods Dam project, an appreciation luncheon was held for the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) Test Support personnel involved in completing the repairs. Several crews, both internal and external, were involved in the harmonization and work flow of materials, fabrication, delivery and installation of three platforms, installation of six new cables, fabrication and installation of the drum assembly, modification to five trunnion pins and painting for the platforms. The team also successfully removed the bulk head from one of the sluice gates. Branch managers commend the crews for their overall safety in completing this project. They worked a total of 6,831 hours without any major incidents.
