Arnold Engineering Development Complex’s (AEDC) Arcs Test Team was presented a Technical Achievement Award for its originality, creativity and innovation in completing a recent test in the H2 arc heater facility. The team created and successfully implemented a new test method for stagnation coupon testing based on interfaces already available at AEDC, which minimized costs to the customer by using remaining project resources to reduce future risk.
