Winter weather results in $235,000 of damage to AEDC
Arnold Engineering Development Complex’s remote operating location in Maryland, Tunnel 9, is shown here during one of the heavy snowfalls last month. The Tunnel 9 facility was closed for a day after receiving more than 12 inches of snow, but reopened the next day. In January, the same facility had a major water main break and they were without power for most of a day before GSA was able to make repairs. (Photo by Greg Wannenwetsch)
