Economic and Community Development Commissioner visits AEDC

The Tennessee Economic and Community Development (ECD) Commissioner Bill Hagerty (far left) recently met with Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) officials to get an update on the Complex. The commissioner and several of his staff members met with AEDC Commander Col. Raymond Toth (3rd from left), Dr. Douglas Blake (2nd from right), Col. James Krajewski, Clark Brandon, John Laviolette, and Jason Austin (not shown). Each time the legislature goes into recess, the commissioner and his team hit the road to talk with businesses across the state. One topic included in their discussion at AEDC was the Enhanced Use Lease Program which allows the Department of Defense to lease land or facilities to public entities or private developers.
