AEDC employees participate in MLK Jr. Remembrance Walk
Employees recently participated in a Remembrance Walk at Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) as a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and others who made sacrifices for equality and fairness in providing opportunities and freedoms for all people. The event was also in recognition of the national birthday celebration of King with a theme of “Remember! Celebrate! Act! … A Day On, Not a Day Off.” The theme focused on community service. The event began with remarks from AEDC African American Heritage Committee Remembrance Walk Coordinators Fred Rone and Art Walker and AEDC Commander Col. Raymond Toth followed by a walk around a portion of the Complex.
