Eagle population increases at Arnold
A bald eagle, such as the one shown here, chooses large trees with dead limbs to build nests and have better aerial access for their wingspan of 6-8 feet. This eagle and mate was reported for the first time nesting at Arnold AFB in 2009. (U.S. Air Force photo/David Housch)
