Adjutant Generals Distinguished Patriot Medal Award Presentation
Emergency responders’ efforts in the Tennessee Maneuvers 2016, a statewide emergency response exercise, is the catalyst for the Tennessee Adjutant General's Distinguished Patriot Medal (TAGDPM). The awards ceremony presented by Maj. Gen. Jeffrey Holmes, the deputy adjutant general of Tennessee, took place at the University of Tennessee Space Institute Nov. 3, 2016. The TAGDPM is awarded to any member of the U.S. Armed Forces, or any civilian who boldly distinguishes himself by a significant patriotic act or contribution to state or nation which serves to promote patriotism and preservation of either state or national heritage.
