Sled park preserves high-speed history
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- A sled that was once used in tests on the Holloman High Speed Test Track is displayed at the 846th Test Squadron Sled Park July 16, 2010. Currently, the park showcases six sleds, but is slated to have 13 sleds total by 2011, along with a piece of test track and a sample of track from the magnetic levitation capability project.
