AEDC T-11 engine test cell modified to expand its capabilities
The AEDC T-11 engine test cell at Arnold Air Force Base has been enhanced to perform a wide variety of research tests. The modification was part of an effort of the AEDC technology program to develop test and evaluation techniques that will prepare the Complex to meet future vision system weapon requirements. T-11 modifications included adding a handling apparatus to enable legacy R-Cells to be rolled into the test section. Pictured here is the crane and trolley used in the T-11 test section. (AEDC photo)
