Townsend helps host STEM night in Korea during deployment
2nd Lt. Jimyung Park, 2nd Lt. Ashley Olson, Senior Master Sgt. Darrell Townsend man their booth at the Osan Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Career Day held for students of military families at the base in South Korea. As part of the STEM event, Townsend, who is a craft superintendent at Arnold Air Force Base in addition to serving in the Tennessee Air National Guard, helped demonstrate how to launch straw rockets.
