AEDC commander recognizes 'eagle-eyed' team members
Machinist Bryon Weatherford, left, and technicians Shahn Hunter, center, and Adam Baker are among the AEDC team members recently recognized by AEDC Commander Col. Scott Cain for speaking up when things didn’t look or sound right during testing. Baker and Hunter noticed debris passing in front of a camera during a test in the 4-foot transonic wind tunnel at Arnold Air Force Base. At the same time, Weatherford heard an unusual sound in the 4T facility. All three recommended the immediate shutdown of the test and are credited with preventing damage to the tunnel and test article.
