AEDC commander helps Hands-On Science Center celebrate new mural
Arnold Engineering Development Complex Commander Col. Randel Gordon, joined by local artists Joy Snead, center, and Avery Wert, cuts the ribbon on the new space mural at the Hands-On Science Center in Tullahoma, Tenn., May 5, 2023. The mural depicting planets, stars and comets was made possible through a grant HOSC received from the Tennessee Arts Commission. With it, HOSC partnered with the Tullahoma Fine Arts Center, with which Snead and Wert are affiliated, to complete the mural. The ribbon cutting ceremony coincided with National Space Day.
