Phone upgrade on the horizon for Arnold AFB personnel
Drew Savelle, telecommunications technician for the Base Communications and Information Technology contractor at Arnold Air Force Base, Tenn., sets up a new Avaya Voice over Internet Protocol, or VoIP, phone set in the Carroll Building at Arnold AFB on Sept. 17, 2024. BCITS technicians are currently working to replace existing digital desk phones and Nortel VoIP phones across the installation. The project is slated for completion by late January 2025.
