Arnold AFB Fire and Emergency Services participates in National Guard response exercise
Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting crews from Arnold Air Force Base Fire and Emergency Services are familiarized with the MQ-9 Reaper during the portion of the Vigilant Guard exercise conducted at Arnold AFB, Tenn., May 14, 2025. Vigilant Guard is an annual disaster response exercise carried out by National Guard units across the country. Arnold AFB was involved in the portion of Vigilant Guard 2025 focused on airfield management and fuel transfer missions. Guardsmen from the Tennessee National Guard and the North Dakota National Guard were on hand at Arnold to perform the exercise. Arnold AFB Fire and Emergency Services crews supported the effort by maintaining a presence during the arrival and departure of aircraft and throughout the refueling.
