Extinguisher! STAT! Arnold AFB team members help battle truck blaze

This photo shows the aftermath of a July 11, 2025, fire inside a truck that visits Arnold Air Force Base, Tenn., to shred paper collected across the installation. The truck caught fire during a stop at the Arnold AFB Medical Aid Station. Amanda Van Pelt, Suzanne Hale and Kelsey Rob, who are staffed at the Medical Aid Station by CORE Occupational Medicine, a company subcontracted by the Arnold Engineering Development Complex Test Operations and Sustainment Contractor to provide basic medical services to TOS employees at Arnold AFB, headquarters of AEDC. The CORE team sprang into action when a truck collecting shredded materials unexpectedly caught fire.
