Extinguisher! STAT! Arnold AFB team members help battle truck blaze
Amanda Van Pelt third from right, Suzanne Hale, second from right, and Kelsey Rob, right, pose for a photo with firefighters from Arnold Air Force Base Fire and Emergency Services after extinguishing a fire outside the Medical Aid Station at Arnold AFB, Tenn., July 11, 2025. Van Pelt, Hale and Rob are staff members with CORE Occupational Medicine, a company subcontracted by the Arnold Engineering Development Complex Test Operations and Sustainment Contractor to provide basic medical services to TOS employees at Arnold AFB, headquarters of AEDC. The CORE team sprang into action when a truck collecting shredded materials unexpectedly caught fire. They used extinguishers to quickly put out the flames, preventing the fire from spreading and minimizing damage. The Arnold FES crew responded to the scene to further douse the fire.
