Arnold Fire and Emergency Services conducts annual aircraft live fire training
Arnold Engineering Development Complex Commander Col. Grant Mizell, center, receives firehose instruction from Arnold Air Force Base Fire and Emergency Services firefighter Charles Armstrong prior to his participation in live fire training March 6, 2026, at Arnold AFB, Tenn. During the training, Arnold FES crews combated fires on a simulated aircraft fuselage. The annual training is conducted by FES to maintain readiness in the event of an emergency and to meet National Fire Protection Association and Air Force requirements.
