AEDC Honored at Inaugural ‘Meet the Heroes’ Hall of Fame Event at Hickerson Elementary

Fourth grade students with Hickerson Elementary toured Arnold Air Force Base, headquarters of Arnold Engineering Development Complex, Feb. 11, 2026. The students learned about the base as a whole along with meeting engineers and other personal essential to daily base operations. The students were then able to take what they learned on the tour and present it during their first ever Meet the Heroes: Community Partner Hall of Fame event that was held at the school, April 6, 2026. The event featured the school’s students hosting interactive booths where they gave briefs about the organizations that they had toured previous to the presentation.
