846th Test Squadron, student collaboration earns recognition

The team of New Mexico State University students who worked on a Capstone Design project proposed by the 846th Test Squadron gathers for a photo May 1, 2026, at NMSU. The university annually sponsors a Capstone Design Program through which commercial and government agencies can submit a project for students to work on throughout the school year. NMSU students who worked on the project pictured from left are Anna Greenwood, Erik Villareal, Daniel Mendoza, James Payan, Anibal Manriquesz and Jeindal Delgado. The 846 TS proposed the redesign of the Rail Alignment Measurement System cart it uses to properly align the rails of the Holloman High Speed Test Track.
