Team AEDC mobilizes to quickly meet urgent test request

A model of the F-16 Fighting Falcon with weapon stores is pictured March 5, 2026, in the Aerodynamic Wind Tunnel 4T at Arnold Air Force Base, Tenn., headquarters of Arnold Engineering Development Complex. Members of the AEDC team at Arnold AFB recently rallied to meet an urgent test request. The AEDC Model Shop team fabricated a new weapon model in less than 24 hours, and engineers with the 716th Test Squadron tested the integration of the weapon stores with the F-16. Members of Team AEDC delivered test data only 67 hours after the test request was received. (U.S. Air Force photo by Keith Thornburgh)
